The image below shows the front and back cover of our digipak completed. I am very pleased with the result as both images create dramatic effect due to their dominance on the digipak and relate to each other and the content of our video effectively. We have included all the aspects which we think fit the conventions of a digipak such as: the record label, bar code, qr code, website, copyright and production information etc.. Also as our digipak includes the video on the track listing we also made sure we put the DVD logo on our packaging which also helps to emphasise that we have created a DVD digipak and not a CD digipak. The text we have used I believe fits our genre (pop-rock/pop-punk) as it almost has a Gothic feel to it due to its shape and appearance - it has an edgy feel to it which can be seen as a convention on most digipaks from this genre.
I believe that the inside of our digipak is instantly eye catching and dramatic due to the bright red rose and petals against the black background and then the white lyrics overlay. An image of this is placed below. Similar to the images featured on the outside of the digipak the images of the rose and the petals relate back to content in our video (Tom gives Kate a rose) and relate to the general theme of romance throughout the video that we are trying to convey.
