As the song we have chosen is based on the idea of a relationship/the loss of a relationship we had to think about the people we wanted to star in our video as a couple. We instantly came to the decision of Kate Fenwick and Tom Manson. We decided we wanted Kate and Tom in our video as they are both Drama students and have worked together many a time so we knew they would be able to achieve what we wanted them to - portray a couple who are loosing their relationship, we have appropriate expression, emotion and not too over the top.
Kate will play our girlfriend/Avril figure who feels her relationship is slipping away, she is loosing the control, security she once had and cannot see her dream of a "happy ending" coming true.
Tom will play our boyfriend figure who will represent security for the girlfriend figure. As this security is lost and fades so will the control in the couples relationship.
