Wednesday 5th October - Today we re-filmed the performance shots after school at the Gifted and Talented Centre Gardens. Today the lighting was not as bright as when we filmed on Monday 19th September as it was later on in the day. Therefore, the natural light present was darker than earlier in the day. Due to this, we felt we did not need to change the iris on the camera lens as suggested because when we did we couldn't see a difference so therefore decided to keep the camera on automatic instead of manual as it was easier. We used all the locations within the garden that we planned to - the arch way, the metal stairs, the tree but as we were filming on the metal stairs we discovered the roof top at the top of the stairs with the sky light windows on the top. We decided to film in this location as we felt it made a good shot and expressed a feeling of escape, reflection and isolation as not many people tend to go on top of a roof so therefore our artist can escape from the busy world and reflect on her troubles.
